Blog revamp

I'm thinking about doing a major overhaul here on my tiny blog. I really like making stuff...cards mostly. I spend a lot of time (too much time) looking at cards that other people make and I think it's high time I started posting some of my own creations. So I am going to give this a try. I will do my level best to take good photos of my cards and post them here. No videos, though. I'm not ready for that yet.

Give me some time to get my act together (figure out how to post pictures here) and please wish me luck!

Christmas cards in September!

I know. I've finally gone completely and utterly insane. But last year when I was sticking stamps on holiday cards on Christmas Eve I swore I wouldn't do that ever again. So when Shutterfly sent me a coupon code for 10 free cards I jumped on it. Here's a sneak peak of my design.

Just because I've ordered them, though, doesn't mean they'll get put in the mail in time. Check back with me in December when I'm frantically running around the house saying, "I know I put them somewhere!"

Get Sketchy!

OK, so I know I don't post all that often, and that I spend way more time on Facebook, but you have got to check out this amazing blog. It's called Get Sketchy. Have you ever had major card makers block? You're just sitting there staring at a blank piece of cardstock, with nothing more than a blank mind and a handful of random embellishments?
